Roles & Responsibility:
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively seeking new clients through networking, cold calling, marketing campaigns, and attending industry events.
Customer Needs Assessment: Conducting site visits or consultations (virtual/in-person) to understand client energy consumption patterns, requirements, and site conditions (e.g., shading, roof size).
Solution Design & Proposal Development: Collaborating with technical/engineering teams to design customized solar solutions (including appropriate inverters, panels, and battery storage) and preparing detailed techno-commercial proposals and quotes.
Sales Presentations & Education: Delivering compelling presentations to potential customers, educating them on the benefits of solar energy, cost savings, available incentives (like subsidies or net metering), and technical aspects of the product.
Negotiation & Closing Deals: Leading negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and contracts to successfully close sales and achieve or exceed sales targets/quotas.
Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients throughout the entire sales cycle and providing post-sale support to ensure high satisfaction and generate repeat business/referrals.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Staying updated on market trends, government policies, competitor activities, and new technologies to inform sales strategies.
Reporting & CRM Management: Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM software and providing regular reports/forecasts to management.
