Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive with strong academic background in Horticulture and Agribusiness to handle sales and marketing of horticulture and plant nursery products. The candidate will be responsible for developing the market, managing customers, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell horticulture, nursery plants, soil, growing media, and related products
- Develop and manage relationships with nurseries, landscapers, farmers, garden centers, and institutional clients
- Conduct regular field visits to generate new business and maintain existing customers
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Provide product knowledge and technical guidance to customers
- Collect market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback
- Coordinate with logistics and internal teams for timely order execution
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and visit plans
- Participate in exhibitions, demos, and promotional activities as required
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing of:
- Horticulture products
- Plant nursery products
- Agri-inputs or allied agri segments (preferred)

- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Good technical knowledge of horticulture and soil science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Market development and customer relationship management
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Own two-wheeler (bike) is mandatory
- Valid driving license
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
