Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Mumbai. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with channel partners, farmers, and institutional buyers, and driving sales of Farmodaya’s products and services. Duties include conducting market visits, meeting sales targets, managing leads and inquiries, and providing timely follow-ups and product demonstrations. The role will also involve collecting market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to help refine offerings and pricing strategies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in field sales, business development, or key account management, preferably in agriculture, agri-inputs, food processing, or FMCG.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders (distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers).
Solid communication and presentation skills ; ability to explain product value clearly and persuasively.
Comfort with data-driven selling, including basic use of CRM tools, spreadsheets, and mobile apps to track leads, visits, and conversions.
High level of self-motivation, ownership, and resilience; willingness to travel frequently within and around Mumbai as required.
