Job Title: Sales Executive – Cutting‑Tools & Manufacturing
Location: Bangalore (open to travel as needed)
Company: FOBURR PVT LTD– a fast‑growing manufacturer of high‑precision cutting tools (drills, end‑mills, reamers, etc.) serving automotive, aerospace and general‑engineering clients.
About the Role
You’ll be the front‑line champion for our cutting‑tool portfolio, turning leads into long‑term partnerships. You’ll combine technical know‑how with a hunter’s mindset to drive sales, give on‑site demos, and keep the product team in the loop with real‑world feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect & Qualify – hunt for new accounts using cold calls, LinkedIn, networking events and referrals; qualify leads based on industry, volume and fit.
- Technical Selling – understand cutting‑tool applications and machining processes; conduct product demos and present technical proposals that solve customers’ specific machining
- Customer Success – maintain strong relationships, provide post‑sales support, troubleshoot tool performance and gather feedback for product improvement.
- CRM & Reporting – keep Salesforce (or our chosen CRM) up‑to‑date, log all interactions and submit weekly activity reports.
- Travel – be ready for occasional field visits, trade shows and customer site meetings (up to 30 % of time).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field (MBA or sales certifications are a plus).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in B2B sales, preferably within cutting‑tools, metal‑working or related manufacturing sectors. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid grasp of cutting‑tool applications, machining processes and material specifications.
- Skills: Excellent communication & negotiation, CRM proficiency analytical ability, and a self‑driven, results‑oriented attitude.
- Personal Traits: Strong relationship‑building, resilient under pressure, comfortable with travel and willing to learn the technical side of the business.
