Key Responsibilities:
The Relationship Officer will be responsible for sourcing customers for LAP through direct sales, field visits, channel partners, builders, and DSAs. They must clearly explain product features, loan eligibility, interest rates, documentation, and overall loan procedures to customers. Evaluating customer profiles, income documents, and property papers for preliminary eligibility is a key part of the role.
The officer will coordinate with credit, legal, and technical teams for property valuation, legal scrutiny, and loan approval. Ensuring accurate documentation and timely disbursement is essential. The role requires achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a healthy loan portfolio and minimizing delinquency.
Customer relationship management is crucial—regular follow-ups, resolving queries, and maintaining long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. The officer must stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and customer expectations to refine sales strategies.
Preparing daily MIS reports, tracking applications, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory norms are also important responsibilities. The officer must maintain a professional approach, demonstrate strong negotiation and convincing skills, and deliver excellent customer service throughout the loan process.
