Job Description: Relationship Manager (Motor & Health Insurance)

​Role Objective:-

​The Relationship Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by building and maintaining strong partnerships with automobile dealerships, health clinics, insurance agents, and corporate clients. The focus is to ensure high volume for Motor Insurance and consistent growth in the Health Insurance portfolio.

​Key Responsibilities:-

​1. Business Development & Partnerships

​Motor Insurance: Onboard and manage relationships with car and two-wheeler dealerships to capture insurance business at the point of sale.

​Health Insurance: Partner with small businesses, HR departments, and local community leaders to offer group and individual health coverages.

​Agent Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and train POSP (Point of Sales Persons) and independent agents to expand the company's distribution network.

​2. Client Relationship Management

​Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and partners.

​Provide expert advice on policy selection (e.g., explaining Zero-Depreciation in Motor or Cashless Hospitalization in Health).

​Ensure timely renewals of existing policies to maintain a high retention rate.

​3. Operations & Support

​Coordinate with the underwriting and claims teams to ensure a smooth experience for the customer.

​Assist clients during the claims process, acting as a bridge between the policyholder and the insurance provider.

​Conduct regular training sessions for agents and partners on new product features and IRDAI regulations.

​Required Qualifications & Skills

​Education: Graduate (B.Com / BBA / BMS) or equivalent.

​Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Insurance Sales or Relationship Management (General Insurance experience is highly preferred).

​Skills:

​Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication.

​Deep knowledge of Motor Insurance (TP, OD, Add-ons) and Health Insurance (Family Floater, Critical Illness).

​Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.

​Ability to travel locally within the Kalyan-Bhiwandi-Thane region.
