Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 2–5 years of experience in the Food Industry to manage procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies. The candidate will ensure timely purchasing, cost control, vendor management, and compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Raw Material Procurement

• Purchase food raw materials such as grains, spices, dairy products, oils, additives, and ingredients.

• Ensure materials meet quality and food safety standards.

2. Packaging Material Procurement

• Procure packaging materials like bottles, pouches, cartons, labels, and containers.

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure packaging meets product and regulatory requirements.

3. Vendor Management

• Identify and develop reliable suppliers for food ingredients and packaging materials.

• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, and delivery.

4. Price Negotiation

• Negotiate cost, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

• Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining product quality.

5. Purchase Order Management

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).

• Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

6. Inventory Coordination

• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to maintain required stock levels.

• Prevent stock shortages or overstocking.

7. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all purchased materials comply with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Handle quality issues, returns, or supplier disputes.

8. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain purchase records, vendor agreements, and invoices.

• Prepare procurement reports and cost analysis.
