Position: Organic Vegetable Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Organic Vegetable Sourcing Manager to develop and manage sourcing networks for certified organic vegetables across North India. The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, farmer engagement, procurement planning, quality assurance, pricing negotiations, and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard organic vegetable growers, FPOs, cooperatives, and vendors.

• Develop sourcing networks in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and nearby regions.

• Verify organic certifications and compliance requirements.

• Negotiate procurement rates and annual sourcing contracts.

• Ensure continuous supply of seasonal and off-season vegetables.

• Conduct farm visits and vendor audits.

• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and quality teams.

• Monitor market trends, crop availability, and pricing.

• Build long-term relationships with farmers and aggregators.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in fresh produce or organic vegetable sourcing.

• Strong network of organic farmers, FPOs, and suppliers.

• Knowledge of NPOP, Jaivik Bharat, and organic certification standards.

• Experience in vendor management and procurement.

• Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience sourcing vegetables for retail chains, exporters, food processors, or e-commerce platforms.
