2. Promote the Company's Medical Products to Doctors, Pharmacists, and Other Relevant Healthcare Professionals to Achieve Sales Targets
Conduct Regular Market And Competitor Research And Identify New Developments To Drive Business Strategies, Including New Products, Competitive Pricing, Etc.
Follow-Up And Build Customer Relationships To Get Feedback And Repeat Business.
Identify new potential doctors and business areas
Maintain strong relationships with stockiest and retailers
Ensure proper stock availability and order generation
3. Scheduling appointments with doctors and chemists, which may entail making appointments in advance or contacting frequently. giving doctors, professionals, and other audiences detailed presentations. To assure product availability, do a pharmacy survey. Regular follow-up visits with physicians, specialists, and hospital doctors, etc establishing and maintaining cooperative working connections with stockier and chemist attaining (and exceeding) the territory's monthly sales goal. Scheduling jobs and creating a weekly and monthly tour itinerary. Working with your bosses and the HO staff may be necessary for this.
Job Summary
1. Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling.
2. Making presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector. Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day, or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel or conference venue.
3. Organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff; building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff.
4. Managing budgets (for catering, outside speakers, conferences, hospitality, etc.)
5. Keeping detailed records of all contacts.
6. Reaching (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets.
7. Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with the area sales manager. Generally, medical sales executives have their own regional area of responsibility and plan how and when to target health professions.
8. Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
9. Keeping up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.
10. Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products; maintaining knowledge of new developments in the National Health Service (NHS), anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly
