Job Summary
Marketing Representative will be responsible for generating business opportunities, building relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and commercial clients, and promoting the company’s lighting design and execution services. The role requires extensive fieldwork, client meetings, site visits, and coordination with design and project teams to convert leads into successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
� Business Development & Lead Generation
● Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits
● Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, builders, and developers
● Visit potential clients, project sites, and offices to present company offerings
● Build and maintain a strong professional network in the construction and design ecosystem
� � Sales & Client Engagement
● Present lighting design and execution services to prospective clients
● Understand client requirements and coordinate with design teams for proposals
● Assist in preparing quotations, presentations, and proposals
● Follow up on leads, negotiations, and deal closures
● Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals
� � Site & Project Coordination Support
● Conduct site visits to understand project scope and timelines
● Coordinate with design and project teams for technical inputs
● Support smooth handover of confirmed projects to the execution team
● Maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
� � Marketing & Brand Promotion (Field)
● Promote company brand through meetings, visits, and industry networking
● Attend exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events
● Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and trends
● Provide feedback to management on client needs and market demand Tools & Skills Required
� � Sales & Technical Knowledge
● Basic understanding of lighting solutions and applications
● Ability to explain lighting concepts in simple terms to clients
● Familiarity with project-based sales cycles
� � Tools & Software
● MS Excel & MS Word (quotations, follow-ups, reports)
● CRM tools (preferred but not mandatory)
● Email and communication tools
● Smartphone usage for field reporting and coordination Qualifications
� � Education
● Graduate in any discipline (Engineering / Design background preferred) Experience ● 3–6 years of experience in Marketing
● Experience in lighting, electrical, interiors, construction, or building materials preferred
● Proven experience dealing with architects, designers, or commercial clients is an advantage Required Soft Skills
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Persuasive and confident presentation abilities
