Manage and develop relationships with mapped bank branches and branch staff.
Generate insurance business through bank customers and leads provided by the bank.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Sell suitable Life Insurance / Health Insurance products based on customer needs.
Conduct customer meetings and explain product benefits, features, premium and policy terms.
Work closely with Bank Relationship Managers, Branch Managers and other stakeholders to generate business.
Conduct regular branch visits and participate in morning huddles and sales meetings.
Train and motivate bank employees on insurance products, processes and sales opportunities.
Drive branch activation, lead generation, cross-selling and customer engagement activities.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track lead conversion.
Ensure timely submission of proposals and completion of documentation.
Follow company policies, regulatory requirements and ethical sales practices.
Maintain customer relationships for renewals, persistency and future cross-selling opportunities.
Monitor daily/weekly sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
Prepare regular business and activity reports for management.
For Life Insurance – Additional Responsibilities
Sell protection, savings, investment, retirement and term insurance solutions.
Focus on premium/APE, policies issued, persistency and product mix.
Conduct financial-need-based selling and identify customer protection requirements.
For Health Insurance – Additional Responsibilities
Sell individual, family-floater, senior-citizen and other relevant health insurance products.
Drive new business as well as renewal/retention opportunities.
Explain coverage, exclusions, waiting periods, claims process and policy benefits accurately.
Candidate Profile
Graduate in any discipline.
1–5 years of experience in insurance, banking, NBFC, financial services or direct sales preferred.
Experience in Bancassurance / Branch Banking Sales will be an advantage.
Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
Target-oriented and comfortable with sales pressure.
Good negotiation, presentation and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to travel to assigned bank branches.
Basic knowledge of insurance products and regulatory/compliance requirements.
