Position – Branch Manager – Gold Loan

Location – As per company requirement

Qualification - Any Graduate

Year of Experience - 2–5 Years in Gold Loan

CTC – Upto 8Lakhs

Skill Required

• Knowledge of Gold appraisal and valuation techniques

• Understanding of Gold Loan Products and NBFC operations

• Familiarity with KYC/AML and RBI regulations

• Leadership and team management

• Target-driven and result-oriented mindset

• Decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Customer handling and relationship management

Core Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

• Drive gold loan business targets (disbursement, portfolio growth, revenue)

• Develop local market strategies to increase customer acquisition

• Build strong relationships with customers and local networks

• Monitor competition and implement effective sales initiatives

2. Gold Loan Operations

• Oversee gold loan processing including appraisal, sanction, and disbursement

• Ensure accurate gold valuation, purity testing, and weight verification

• Monitor loan renewal, closure, and auction processes

• Ensure proper storage and security of pledged gold

3. Team Management

• Lead, train, and motivate branch staff to achieve performance targets

• Allocate responsibilities and monitor daily activities

• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching

• Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies

4. Customer Service

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quick service turnaround

• Handle customer queries, escalations, and complaints effectively

• Build long-term customer relationships and retention strategies

5. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML guidelines and regulatory requirements

• Maintain audit readiness at all times (internal and external audits)

• Identify and mitigate operational and fraud risks

• Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs

6. Cash & Asset Management

• Monitor cash handling and daily reconciliation

• Ensure safety and security of branch assets including pledged gold

• Maintain proper vault management and access controls

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure accurate and complete loan documentation

• Maintain branch records and registers as per compliance norms

• Submit timely reports on business performance, audits, and operations

8. Marketing & Local Outreach

• Support local marketing campaigns and promotional activities

• Organize branch-level customer engagement programs

• Increase brand visibility in the local market

· Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
