Key Responsibilities

As an FMCG Sales Team Leader, you will:

1. Lead and Supervise the Sales Team

2. Guide, coach, and motivate sales representatives to reach individual and team targets.

• Assign daily/weekly tasks and monitor performance metrics.

1. Achieve Sales Targets

2. Drive sales activities to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

• Develop and implement sales strategies in line with company goals.

1. Market Development

2. Identify and develop new business opportunities and distribution channels.

• Increase brand penetration and visibility in the market.

1. Customer Relationship Management

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail outlets.

• Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

1. Reporting & Analysis

2. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and market feedback.

• Track competitor activities and provide insights to management.

1. Training & Development

2. Train new sales team members on products, sales process, and market strategies.

• Conduct periodic review meetings and skills development sessions.

1. Field Coordination

2. Conduct field visits to monitor sales execution, merchandising and compliance with company standards.

• Ensure correct product display and promotions at POS.

1. Stock & Inventory Coordination

2. Coordinate with supply chain/warehouse teams to ensure product availability.

• Monitor stock levels and prevent stock-outs or excess inventory.

1. Promotional Execution

2. Implement trade promotions and schemes effectively in the market.

• Ensure proper documentation and timely execution of promotional plans.
