Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support to end users and resolve hardware, software, and basic networking issues. The candidate should have hands-on experience in laptop/desktop troubleshooting and hardware replacement and should be comfortable travelling to client locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

• Perform laptop/desktop repair and troubleshooting.

• Replace and troubleshoot hardware components such as RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, keyboard, battery, adapter, etc.

• Install and configure Windows 10/11 and required applications.

• Troubleshoot MS Office, Outlook, email, and user-related issues.

• Perform basic LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP troubleshooting.

• Install and configure printers and other peripherals.

• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and replacement.

• Maintain proper records of IT assets, spare parts, and service activities.

• Update and close tickets within defined SLA timelines.

• Travel to different customer/client locations as required.

• Provide professional and timely support to end users.

Required Skills

• 6 months–3 years of experience in Field Support / Desktop Support / IT Support.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office.

• Basic networking knowledge.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Willingness to travel for onsite support.
