Job description:

Job Title: Solar Design Intern

Location: New Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Panipat, Noida (in office, partly on-site if necessary)
Duration: minimum 6 Months

Eligibility: Final year students or recent graduates in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or related fields

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist in designing rooftop solar PV systems (residential, industrial, commercial)

·         Prepare site layout, shadow analysis, and stringing diagrams using tools like AutoCAD, Arka (The Solar Labs), Helioscope, PVsyst, SketchUp etc.

·         Support the BOQ preparation and load calculations

·         Coordinate with the sales and project teams for technical inputs

·         Contribute to performance simulations and yield estimations

·         Maintain documentation and drawing records

Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of solar PV system components and working

• Knowledge of design software: AutoCAD, Arka (The Solar Labs), PVsyst, Google SketchUp (at least one)

• Proficiency in MS Excel & Google Sheets

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Good communication and eagerness to learn

Work Requirement:

·        Visiting the site before installation of solar plant

·        Measuring site dimensions and available space

·        Checking structure strength and orientation (if shed installed)

·        Identifying shading, obstructions, and safety risks

·        Collecting technical data (location, layout, access points)

·        Taking photos and preparing survey reports

·        Sharing feasibility and recommendations with the engineering team

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Contract length: 6 months
