
Role Summary: As a Supervisor for Banana Export & Domestic Operations, you will oversee all aspects of banana production, from contract farming and procurement to fruit care and packaging. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations at both farm and packhouse levels, maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1)
Manage Banana Operations: Oversee export and domestic operations, including contract farming, technical support, procurement, and planning.
2)
Farmer Relations & Support: Build and maintain strong farmer relationships, offering technical guidance and ensuring crop care from farm to packhouse.
3)
Fruit Quality & Assurance: Ensure high standards of fruit care, quality assurance, and hygiene during harvesting, storage, and packaging.
4)
Farm & Labor Management: Supervise farm equipment, labor management, and crop planning to ensure efficient operations.
5)
Packhouse Oversight: Monitor and manage all activities from harvesting to packing, ensuring the quality and safety of the fruits.
What we are looking for:
1) Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
2) 0 - 2 years of experience in managing farm operations, fruit care, or agribusiness (preferably in the banana exports industry).
3) Strong understanding of contract farming, crop management, and quality assurance processes
