New Business Development: Actively source and acquire new merchants (retailers, businesses, etc.) to adopt SBI's POS terminals and other digital payment solutions (like Bharat QR, UPI, YONO Merchant App).
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales and business volume targets for POS terminal deployment and transaction processing.
Product Promotion: Promote the various types and features of SBI POS terminals .
Onboarding & Installation: Manage the end-to-end process of merchant onboarding, including document verification and POS terminal installation.
Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and handholding to merchants and their staff on how to use the POS terminal correctly and securely.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, continuous relationships with merchants to ensure high customer satisfaction and drive business volumes.
Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for merchants' operational issues related to the POS terminal (malfunctioning, network outage, transaction queries).
Liaison: Coordinate with SBI branch managers, internal teams, and technical service providers (TSPs) to ensure prompt service and maintenance of the terminals.
Usage Activation: Execute campaigns and strategies to increase terminal usage and activation among existing merchants.
Performance Tracking: Regularly track, monitor, and report the performance of the assigned geography or zone in terms of sales, business volume, and compliance.
Compliance: Ensure that all sales and operational processes adhere to the company's policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., related to KYC/AML).
These roles require a strong background in sales, experience in the merchant acquiring business or payment industry, and excellent communication and people skills.
