
Key responsibilities
Customer acquisition:
Find and onboard new customers for current and savings accounts through field sales, referrals, and other promotional activities.
Relationship management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
Sales and targets:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for new accounts and other banking products.
Product promotion:
Actively promote the bank's products and services, including accounts, insurance, mutual funds, and loans, to potential and existing clients.
Account management:
Ensure new accounts are activated, and work to increase the wallet share of existing customers by encouraging the use of other banking products.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and progress toward targets.
Required qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
Education: A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is often required.
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills are essential.
Knowledge: A solid understanding of financial products and services is necessary.
Other: Ability to work under pressure, meet stringent targets, and conduct market research.
