To generate new customers, maintain existing customers, visit construction sites and dealers, promote company products, collect enquiries/orders, and achieve monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
A. Field Sales
Visit construction sites, builders, contractors, architects and dealers regularly.
Identify new business opportunities and potential customers.
Generate enquiries and convert enquiries into orders.
Explain product specifications, pricing and availability.
Follow up on quotations and pending orders.
Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
B. Customer Development
Develop relationships with:
Builders & developers
Civil contractors
Architects/interior designers
Site engineers
Procurement teams
Building-material dealers
Individual villa/home builders
Maintain regular contact with existing customers.
Identify additional products that can be sold to existing customers.
C. Site Visits
Visit active construction projects.
Record project stage, approximate material requirement and expected purchase date.
Identify the decision-maker and procurement person.
Collect competitor/product/pricing information.
Coordinate with the office team for quotations and delivery.
D. Order & Payment Follow-up
Take customer orders accurately.
Coordinate with stores/logistics for delivery.
Follow up on pending payments with customers.
Escalate overdue payments to the Sales Manager/Accounts team.
Ensure customer complaints are communicated and resolved quickly.
