FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE – CHANNEL SALES

About GVI Italy

GVI Italy is a supplier of furniture and architectural hardware products, including drawer slides, modular kitchen and wardrobe accessories, aluminium profiles and other hardware solutions.

We are looking for an experienced, target-oriented Field Sales Executive who can develop our dealer network, generate business and build long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach and appoint new dealers and distributors.

• Regularly visit existing dealers and develop strong business relationships.

• Generate orders and achieve assigned monthly sales targets.

• Develop new markets and territories across the assigned region.

• Promote GVI products and communicate their features and benefits.

• Follow up on quotations, enquiries and pending orders.

• Handle dealer objections, competitor pricing and market challenges.

• Generate repeat business from existing customers.

• Follow up on outstanding payments and collections wherever required.

• Plan daily routes and market visits effectively.

• Maintain daily sales reports, visit reports and customer follow-up records.

• Monitor competitor activity, market pricing and new business opportunities.

• Coordinate with internal teams for stock availability, dispatches and customer requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant field sales or channel sales experience.

• Experience selling physical products is mandatory.

• Experience in hardware, furniture, modular kitchen, plywood, architectural hardware, building materials or related industries is preferred.

• Proven ability to acquire new customers and develop dealer networks.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

• Comfortable with extensive market travel and regular customer visits.

• Target-oriented, disciplined and proactive in follow-ups.

• Able to work independently and take ownership of sales results.

Important: Candidates with only service-sector sales experience will not be considered suitable for this role.

Compensation

Fixed monthly salary of ₹30,000–₹40,000 in hand, depending on experience and suitability, plus performance-based incentives.

Sales targets and the incentive structure will be discussed separately during the selection process.
