Role Overview
As a Team Manager / Senior Team Manager (POS Business), you will lead, coach, and drive a high-performing team of Field Sales Executives (FSEs / Sr. FSEs) focused exclusively on EDC/POS terminal sales and merchant winback campaigns. You will be responsible for overall territory throughput, daily team field execution, tracking deployment targets, controlling merchant churn, and building a productive, retention-focused field sales unit.
• Team Leadership & Field On-ground Coaching: Lead a team of 10–15 FSEs/Sr. FSEs. Jointly conduct field visits to train executives on objection handling, pitching POS solutions, and closing high-value merchants.
• Target & Metric Ownership: Drive team execution to consistently achieve monthly EDC device deployment targets, daily revisit quotas, and team active terminal volume metrics.
• Winback & Retention Governance: Strategize and assign inactive/churned merchant pools to FSEs. Monitor daily winback completion, issue resolution, and terminal reactivation.
• Recruitment & Team Building: Source, interview, hire, and onboard skilled FSE talent with prior EDC/fintech experience to maintain optimal team capacity.
• Sales Operations & KYC Compliance: Oversee strict onboarding compliance, correct merchant mapping, terminal deployment SLAs, and zero-tolerance policies on fraud or mis-selling.
• Performance Management: Track daily active team count, conduct morning huddles and evening debriefs, and manage performance PIPs or incentivization for underperforming/top-performing executives.
