Job Description – Field Sales Executive (Food Products)

Job Summary

We are looking for energetic and result-oriented Field Sales Executives to promote and sell our food products in the local market. The candidate will be responsible for visiting retail stores, supermarkets, grocery stores, malls, and other outlets, generating orders, developing new retailers, and maintaining strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit retail stores, supermarkets, grocery shops, malls, cafés, restaurants, and other food outlets.

• Introduce and promote company food products to retailers and store managers.

• Generate regular sales orders from existing and new customers.

• Identify and onboard new retailers, distributors, and business outlets.

• Explain product features, pricing, schemes, margins, and offers to retailers.

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales/order-generation targets.

• Maintain good relationships with retailers and ensure repeat orders.

• Follow up with stores for pending orders and payments where required.

• Collect market feedback regarding pricing, competition, demand, and product availability.

• Identify new sales opportunities and expand the company's market presence.

• Submit daily visit, order, and sales reports to the reporting manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Good communication and convincing skills.

• Comfortable with field sales and daily travel.

• Sales, FMCG, food product, retail, or B2B sales experience preferred.

• Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.

• Should be hardworking, disciplined, proactive, and target-oriented.

• Ability to build strong relationships with retailers and customers.

• Smartphone and basic knowledge of mobile applications required.

Performance Expectations
