Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Field Sales Executive to join Paytm’s on-ground sales team. The role involves acquiring new merchants, promoting Paytm’s digital payment solutions, and driving adoption across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and onboard new merchants (retailers, small businesses, vendors) to use Paytm services (QR, Soundbox, POS devices, etc.)
Conduct field visits daily to generate leads and close sales
Educate merchants on the benefits of digital payments and Paytm products
Achieve monthly sales and activation targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants for long-term engagement
Ensure proper installation and activation of Paytm devices/services
Provide after-sales support and resolve merchant queries
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report progress regularly
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory)
0–3 years of experience in field sales, FMCG, telecom, or fintech
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Comfortable with extensive fieldwork and travel
Basic understanding of smartphones and digital payment apps
