Job Summary

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through regular field visits. The role involves promoting engineering products/solutions to industrial customers and supporting business growth in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers through field visits, cold calls, and references

• Visit existing clients to maintain relationships and generate repeat business

• Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable products/solutions

• Prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiations, and order closures

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis

• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, accounts) for order execution

• Prepare daily visit reports and update CRM/sales records

• Participate in exhibitions, site visits, and product demonstrations when required

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic technical knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical systems

• Strong interest in field sales and customer interaction

• Ability to understand technical drawings/specifications (basic level)

• Negotiation and convincing skills

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area

• Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Freshers with strong interest in sales are welcome

• 0–2 years of experience in field sales (industrial/engineering background preferred)

• Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, CRM)
