Position Overview
We are seeking a target-oriented and proactive Field Sales Representative to drive on-ground sales, expand market reach, and build strong customer relationships. The role involves direct interaction with retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and institutional buyers to promote and sell the company’s products.
This position offers a balanced hybrid structure, combining field engagement with in-office sales coordination, enabling efficient planning, follow-ups, and business development.
Work Structure
This role follows a hybrid working model, combining field visits and office-based responsibilities.
Field visits will typically be scheduled 2–3 days per week for client meetings, market visits, and business development.
Remaining days will be office-based (Ghatkopar location), focusing on follow-ups, reporting, coordination, and sales planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Generate new business opportunities by identifying and approaching potential customers.
Visit retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and institutional clients to promote and sell company products.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
2. Market Expansion
Develop and expand the company’s presence within assigned territories.
Identify new markets, customer segments, and distribution opportunities.
Support onboarding of distributors and channel partners where required.
3. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Address customer queries, feedback, and concerns effectively.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
4. Order Management & Collections
Take customer orders and coordinate with internal teams for timely execution.
Follow up on payments and ensure timely collections.
Maintain accurate records of orders and transactions.
5. Market Intelligence
Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market dynamics.
Share insights with management to support strategic decision-making.
6. Reporting & Coordination
Maintain daily sales reports, visit reports, and pipeline updates.
Conduct client follow-ups and manage inquiries from the office.
Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and accounts teams for smooth order fulfillment.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in any field.
1–3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
Willingness to travel within assigned territory as required.
