About the Department (Liability Sales)

The Liability Sales department focuses on liability acquisition, assets, and retail forex business for the bank. The department drives business from 4000+ branches and is responsible for sourcing retail and corporate deposits, salary and non-salary accounts, trust accounts, and forex business with a view to increase the retail book of the bank.

About the Role

Business Development Executives are part of the Bank's front-line sales team. Their primary responsibility is the sales of the bank's products to new customers. They are required to take part in offsite marketing activities and travel locally to meet new customers as a daily activity. They are responsible for selling banking and third-party products to customers based on their needs and handling customer queries.

Business Development Executives are required to achieve the targets assigned by the bank within the initial 6 months for confirmation of their services.

Key Responsibilities

• Selling bank and third-party products to new customers

• Conducting marketing activities and travelling locally to meet new customers as a daily activity

• Contacting existing customers for more deposits and cross-selling additional products

• Achieving sales targets assigned by the organization on a daily and monthly basis

• Completing all mandatory certifications required for the role (AMFI, EUIN, etc.)

• Completing all learning activities conducted by the bank from time to time

• Making daily entries of customer interactions in the bank's CRM system

• Following all compliance guidelines (regulatory & legislative) for each activity

• Participating in and following all initiatives undertaken by the bank from time to time

Compensation

Selection Process

1. Registration process followed by HR screening and eligibility assessment

2. Aptitude test (post clearance of eligibility assessment)

3. 7-day training program followed by a subsequent aptitude test

4. Final selection on clearing all stages

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized institute

• Strong academic records

• Immediate joiner or available to join within 15 days

• Good communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and the local language

• Excellent lead generation and conversion skills

• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

• Ability to work successfully as part of a team

• High sales orientation to meet sales targets consistently

• Willingness to travel locally for meeting customers during sales calls

• Compatible mobile device with required Android/iOS version

Additional Expectations

• Candidate should be well versed in Hindi & English with good communication skills

• Candidate should be presentable and smart

• It is preferred that the candidate has a 2-wheeler
