Job Summary

The Bank Account Opening Field Officer is responsible for acquiring new customers and assisting them with opening savings, current, and other eligible bank accounts. The role involves field visits, customer verification, document collection, and achieving account-opening and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit individuals, businesses, and prospective customers to generate leads.

• Explain bank account products, features, charges, and benefits to customers.

• Assist customers with account-opening forms and required documentation.

• Collect and verify KYC documents as per bank policies and applicable regulations.

• Coordinate with the branch for account processing and activation.

• Follow up with customers regarding incomplete documentation or pending applications.

• Maintain daily records of leads, applications, and accounts opened.

• Achieve assigned monthly account-opening and customer-acquisition targets.

• Build and maintain good relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• Ensure all customer information is collected and handled confidentially.

• Follow the bank's compliance, KYC, AML, and customer-service procedures.

Eligibility

• Minimum 12th pass; graduation preferred.

• Freshers and candidates with sales/field experience may apply.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable with field work and meeting customers.

• Basic knowledge of smartphones, applications, and documentation.

• Knowledge of the local language is preferred.
