The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving on-ground sales growth by onboarding scrap suppliers, building strong local relationships, and ensuring consistent transaction volumes for Metal Mandi.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and onboard scrap dealers, aggregators, and suppliers.
• Conduct daily field visits for lead generation and relationship building.
• Explain Metal Mandi’s process, pricing, and value proposition.
• Negotiate rates and close deals within company guidelines.
• Coordinate with operations, logistics, and QC teams.
• Ensure supplier documentation and basic KYC compliance.
• Track market prices and share competitor insights.
• Achieve assigned sales targets.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships for repeat business.
• Update sales activity and reports regularly.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Field sales and execution capability.
• Understanding of scrap/metal or B2B sales.
• Target-driven mindset.
• Basic MS Excel or CRM knowledge.
• High ownership and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Profile:
• 1–4 years of experience in field sales or B2B sourcing.
• Experience in scrap, metal, recycling, or logistics preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally.
• Comfortable working with traders and unorganized markets.
