rapid delivery across Pune. We are expanding aggressively and looking for passionate business development
professionals to join our growth journey.
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will drive growth across:
• Backstore (Micro-Hub) Development
• Franchise Sales (FOCO / FOFO)
• B2B Sales (Schools, Corporates, Daycares, Gifting Partners)
• Vendor Onboarding & Partnerships
• Field Operations & Relationship Management
You will directly contribute to expanding the Lazy Turtle network and revenue base.
Key Responsibilities
1. Backstore Development
• Identify and evaluate locations for new backstores.
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility checks, and ROI evaluations.
• Coordinate with operations team to set up new backstores.
• Support documentation, agreements, and onboarding formalities.
2. Franchise Sales
• Generate leads and pitch Lazy Turtle franchise models.
• Explain investment structure, revenue model, ROIs, and unit economics.
• Handle franchise onboarding, verification, and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with franchise partners.
3. B2B Sales
• Acquire B2B clients: schools, daycare centres, corporates, gifting partners.
• Share product catalogues, negotiate pricing, and close bulk orders.
• Maintain a strong lead funnel and achieve monthly B2B targets.
4. Vendor & Brand Onboarding
• Identify and onboard toy and baby essential vendors.
• Collect catalogs, verify product quality, negotiate margins.
• Maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
5. Market Expansion & Operations
• Conduct field visits, partnership meetings, and relationship management.
• Gather market intelligence and competitor insights.
• Contribute to monthly business targets across all verticals.
6. Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain CRM updates and weekly performance sheets.
• Prepare proposals, MoUs, agreements, and onboarding documents.
• Provide timely updates to founders and management.
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in Business Development/Sales.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, franchise, or e-commerce preferred.
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• Must be comfortable with field visits and client meetings.
• Self-driven, target-oriented and strong ownership mindset.
