Position Title: Volunteer
Project: UPKAAR TALENT SEARCH & SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – 2025
Reporting To: District / Block Coordinator (under the supervision of State Coordinator – Bihar)
Location: In each District and Block across Bihar
1. Purpose of the Role
The Volunteer is a key representative of Upkaar Dream Alive Foundation (UDAF) at the community level.
The primary purpose of this role is to raise awareness, register students online, and support the implementation of the Upkaar Talent Search & Scholarship Program – 2025, ensuring maximum student participation and transparent registration.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Awareness and Outreach
Promote the Upkaar Talent Search & Scholarship Program among:
School Principals, Administrators, and Teachers
College & Coaching Center Faculties
Parents, Students, and Local Communities
Distribute Foundation-approved materials — brochures, posters, notices, and digital creatives.
Visit schools and institutes to explain program details and encourage participation.
Organize or assist in awareness meetings, community sessions, and educational outreach campaigns.
B. Online Registration & Acknowledgement
Register students through the official UDAF online portal using your Volunteer ID.
Ensure accurate data entry (student name, class, school, contact details, etc.).
Collect the application and apply to the portal from each student and immediately provide an official acknowledgement slip.
Maintain daily records of registrations, fees, and slips issued, and submit reports to your respective Coordinator.
Educate students on exam patterns, syllabus, and scholarship benefits.
C. Coordination & Reporting
Maintain regular communication with your Block or District Coordinator.
Submit daily or weekly reports of awareness visits, registrations, and student lists.
Report technical issues, field challenges, or irregularities promptly.
Assist in examination arrangements, documentation, and result or certificate distribution.
D. Conduct & Representation
Represent Upkaar Dream Alive Foundation professionally and ethically at all times.
Uphold the Foundation’s values of honesty, transparency, and educational empowerment.
Ensure no overcharging, misrepresentation, or delay in issuing acknowledgement slips.
Respect the instructions of Coordinators and follow the Foundation’s code of conduct.
3. Skills and Qualities Required
Good communication and interpersonal skills (Hindi and local language preferred).
Basic computer/smartphone skills for online registration.
Positive, motivated, and socially responsible attitude.
Knowledge of schools, coaching centers, and student communities in your area.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
4. Time Commitment
Flexible working hours based on school timings and outreach needs.
5. Stipend and Recognition
Volunteers are eligible for a performance-based stipend.
The stipend will be determined based on interview results, field performance, target achievement, and reporting discipline.
Volunteers demonstrating exceptional dedication may receive additional recognition, certificates, and recommendations for future roles (Coordinator / Program Assistant).
All volunteers will receive an official Certificate of Appreciation from the Foundation after successful completion of duties.
6. Code of Conduct & Accountability
Volunteers must maintain transparency and integrity in every transaction.
Any form of mismanagement, misconduct, or unlawful activity will result in immediate termination and legal action.
Volunteers operate under the supervision of their respective District/Block Coordinator, monitored by State Coordinator (Mr. Manoj Kumar Bishwas) and the Foundation’s Head Office.
