A Paytm Field Sales Executive is responsible for visiting shops and businesses, onboarding merchants to Paytm, promoting digital payment solutions, and helping merchants use Paytm services such as QR codes and soundboxes.
Key responsibilities
Merchant acquisition: Visit local shops, retail stores, restaurants, and other businesses to onboard new merchants.
QR code installation: Help merchants register and activate Paytm QR codes for digital payments.
Soundbox sales: Promote and sell Paytm Soundbox devices and explain their benefits.
Field visits: Travel within an assigned area and meet business owners daily.
Sales targets: Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for merchant onboarding, device sales, or activations.
Customer support: Help merchants with basic payment-related issues and explain how to use Paytm services.
Relationship management: Maintain good relationships with existing merchants and encourage continued use of Paytm.
Reporting: Submit daily sales reports, update merchant information, and track performance.Education: Often 12th pass or above, depending on the vacancy.
Experience: Freshers may apply; sales experience is an advantage.
Communication: Good Hindi and local-language communication skills.
Mobility: Comfortable travelling daily; a bike and driving licence may be preferred or required.
Skills: Negotiation, customer handling, persuasion, and target achievement.
