Job Title: Sales Engineer – Prefabricated Buildings

Location: Tambaram, Chennai
Industry: Prefabricated / Modular Buildings

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Prefab Sales Engineer to promote and sell prefabricated structures such as site offices, portable cabins, security cabins, kiosks, and modular buildings. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting clients, understanding project requirements, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new customers in construction, infrastructure, industrial and real estate sectors.

• Promote prefabricated structures like site offices, labour camps, toilets, container offices, and modular buildings.

• Visit project sites and understand customer requirements.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and techno-commercial offers.

• Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams for smooth execution.

• Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.

• Maintain client database and follow up for payments and repeat orders.

• Participate in marketing activities, exhibitions, and product promotions.

Requirements:

• Diploma / BE in Civil / Mechanical / Production Engineering (preferred).

• 1–5 years of experience in prefab / construction materials / building products sales.

• Good communication skills in English and local language.

• Must have two-wheeler and valid driving license.

• Willingness to travel and visit sites.

• Basic knowledge of drawings, BOQ, and measurements is an added advantage.
