Job Description (JD)
Position: Field Coordinator
Location: Rohtak, Haryana
Key Responsibilities
Site Monitoring: Regular site visits to monitor ongoing construction activities and ensure work progress as per the approved plan.
Quality Check: Monitor the quality of construction work, including material quality, workmanship and adherence to basic technical specifications.
Community Mobilization: Engage with local communities and farmers to ensure their participation and cooperation in project activities.
Community Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings with community members, farmers and Water User Group (WUG) representatives.
Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with contractors regarding work progress, site requirements, execution issues and timely completion of activities.
Material Procurement: Coordinate the procurement and timely availability of construction materials as per project requirements.
Reporting: Maintain site visit records, document work progress and quality observations, and share regular updates with the project team.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of civil construction and site supervision.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to interact with community members, farmers and contractors.
Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office.
Willingness to travel to project sites.
