🔥 Job Responsibilities of Fire Technician

• Install, test, and maintain fire alarm and fire fighting systems.

• Inspect fire safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, hydrant systems, sprinklers, smoke detectors, and fire pumps.

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of fire protection systems.

• Troubleshoot faults in fire alarm panels and fire safety equipment.

• Conduct routine system testing and ensure proper functioning of all fire safety devices.

• Maintain records of inspection, testing, and maintenance activities.

• Respond quickly during fire emergencies and support evacuation procedures.

• Ensure compliance with fire safety standards and company safety policies.

• Identify fire hazards and report safety risks to management.

• Assist in conducting fire drills and safety training programs.

• Coordinate with safety officers, engineers, and site teams for system maintenance.

• Ensure all fire equipment is available, accessible, and in working condition.

• Follow Permit to Work (PTW) and safety procedures while performing tasks.
