Control and regulate the movement of vehicles, equipment, and pedestrians within the site to prevent accidents.
Guide drivers using standard hand signals, flags, whistles, or communication devices.
Ensure adherence to site traffic rules, speed limits, and designated routes.
Assist vehicle operators during reversing, loading, unloading, and parking activities.
Maintain clear access routes for emergency vehicles at all times.
Ensure proper placement and visibility of traffic signs, cones, barricades, and reflectors.
Monitor pedestrian movement and ensure use of designated walkways.
Identify unsafe traffic conditions or behaviors and immediately report to supervisors/HSE team.
Coordinate with crane operators, security staff, and site engineers during high-risk operations.
Support emergency response by managing traffic during incidents or evacuations.
Maintain discipline and remain alert at assigned duty points throughout the shift.
Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and traffic safety briefings.
Minimum education: 8th / 10th Pass (as per project requirement).
Basic knowledge of traffic management and site safety rules.
Ability to understand and use standard hand signals.
Good communication and observation skills.
Physically fit to stand for long hours and work in outdoor conditions.
Prior experience in construction/industrial sites is an added advantage.
