Community Work – Description

  • Conducting field visits to identify and support People with Spinal Cord Injury (PwSCI) and other underserved communities.

  • Providing community-based rehabilitation, follow-up care, and referral support.

  • Conducting awareness programs on spinal cord injury prevention, rehabilitation, health, and safety.

  • Coordinating medical camps, assistive-device distribution, and self-care/medical kit distribution.

  • Supporting beneficiaries in accessing government schemes, disability certificates, UDID, and other welfare services.

  • Building relationships with families, local communities, healthcare providers, government departments, and community institutions.

  • Maintaining beneficiary records, documenting field activities, and monitoring rehabilitation progress.

  • Mobilizing community participation and volunteers for health, awareness, and social-support activities.
