We are looking for an experienced Business Manager – Agency Channel to drive business growth through an established network of Insurance Advisors, Agents, and market relationships.

This is a pure Individual Contributor role focused on business development, advisor/partner relationships, market expansion, and revenue generation. The position does not involve direct Team Leader or team-handling responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strong relationships with Insurance Advisors, Agents, and Agency Partners.

• Generate new business through existing networks, market relationships, referrals, and direct business development.

• Expand and strengthen the Agency Channel within the assigned territory.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market mapping and networking.

• Work closely with existing advisors/partners to increase business engagement and productivity.

• Conduct regular market visits and client/partner meetings.

• Provide product knowledge, sales support, and business guidance to agency partners.

• Handle the complete business development cycle from lead generation to policy issuance.

• Maintain strong relationships with high-value customers and business partners.

• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth policy processing and customer servicing.

• Maintain accurate business records, pipeline updates, and regular MIS.
  
  Profile

• Graduate in any discipline.

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in Life Insurance / BFSI / Agency Channel.

• Strong experience in individual business development or agency sales.

• Existing network of Insurance Advisors, Agents, HNI customers, or market contacts will be an advantage.

• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and networking skills.

• Ability to independently manage business development activities.

• Strong local market knowledge and willingness to travel.
  
  Candidates looking for a senior individual contributor role without direct team handling are preferred.
