Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO)

Location: Amritsar – Ranjit Avenue
Experience: Minimum 1 Year (Field Sales)
Industry Preference: Banking / Insurance
Education: Graduate (Preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Officer to expand our customer base and drive sales growth in the Amritsar region. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of field sales experience, preferably in Banking or Insurance, and must be confident in client handling, lead generation, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new leads through field visits, referrals, and market networking

• Meet potential clients and pitch products/services effectively

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Identify new business opportunities in the local market

• Conduct follow-ups and ensure smooth onboarding of customers

• Maintain sales reports, daily activity updates, and pipeline tracking

• Coordinate with internal teams for documentation and customer support

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Field Sales (Banking/Insurance preferred)

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work under targets and deadlines

• Good understanding of sales process and customer handling

• Presentable personality with professional approach

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/CRM tools is a plus

Education

• Graduate in any stream (preferred)

• Candidates from commerce, management, or finance background will be an advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in CASA, Loans, Credit Cards, Insurance, Mutual Funds, or Agency Sales

• Local market knowledge of Amritsar and surrounding areas

• Immediate joiners preferred
