ABOUT THE ROLE

MK Gold is expanding aggressively across Karnataka and is looking for a driven and relationship-oriented Business Development Executive to build new revenue streams, referral partnerships, and institutional tie-ups. This is a field-heavy, target-driven role where you will identify and onboard business partners — including pawn brokers, jewellers, real estate agents, housing societies, and microfinance agents — who can refer potential gold sellers to MK Gold. You will also support the expansion of MK Gold's branch network by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and location scouting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Identify and onboard referral partners: pawn brokers, jewellers, chit fund agents, RWAs, and local influencers

•Build and manage a referral partner network across Bengaluru and target expansion cities

•Conduct B2B outreach to NBFCs, banks, and microfinance institutions for institutional referral tie-ups

•Generate qualified gold-seller leads through ground-level outreach, events, and field activities

•Represent MK Gold at local events, exhibitions, and community gatherings to build brand awareness

•Conduct market research on competitor gold buyers — rates, locations, and customer experience

•Assist in location scouting and feasibility analysis for new branch openings

•Meet weekly and monthly targets for partner sign-ups and lead volume

•Maintain accurate records of all leads, partner interactions, and deal progress in CRM

•Work closely with the Marketing and Operations team to align ground-level activities with

campaigns

•Gather customer insights from the field to inform marketing strategy and service improvements

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•1–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or field operations

•Prior experience in gold buying, jewellery, NBFC, microfinance, insurance, or financial services is a

strong plus

•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships quickly

•Ability to communicate fluently in Kannada and Hindi — essential for field work in Bengaluru

•Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field

•Good negotiation and persuasion skills with a consultative selling approach

•Basic proficiency in MS Office / Google Sheets for reporting and data tracking

•Familiarity with CRM tools or lead management apps is a plus

GOOD TO HAVE

•Existing network in Bengaluru's financial services, jewellery, or real estate space

•Knowledge of gold market dynamics, MCX rates, and gold valuation basics

•Experience in referral program management or channel partner development

•Two-wheeler and valid driving license (preferred for field mobility)

QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or any related field

•MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is an added advantage
