A Business Development Associate is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, supporting sales activities, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. The role involves market research, lead generation, client coordination, and assisting in closing sales.
Generate leads through field visits, calls, email campaigns, and networking activities.
Visit colleges, institutions, and corporate clients to promote the organization’s products/services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and key stakeholders.
Conduct presentations, seminars, and promotional events to increase brand visibility.
Follow up with leads, schedule meetings, and support the sales team in conversions.
Maintain accurate records of leads, visits, and daily activities in CRM or designated tools.
Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights for business growth strategies.
Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Prepare daily and weekly reports on business development activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong client relationships.
Good presentation and negotiation skills.
Basic knowledge of sales, marketing, and lead generation.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
0–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing (Freshers can also apply).
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an added advantage.
