Customer & Business Understanding

• Develop a strong understanding of customer business, industry challenges, and IT environment.

• Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer organizations.

• Map customer requirements with relevant IT and cybersecurity solutions.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners.

Solution-Based Selling

• Position cybersecurity and IT solutions based on customer business requirements.

• Understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Work closely with the Presales team for product demonstrations, POCs, and solution alignment.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth movement of opportunities through the sales cycle.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

• Generate sales opportunities through cold calling, partner engagement, customer meetings, field visits, and events/networking activities.

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities.

• Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline.

Partner Development

• Identify, onboard, and activate new System Integrators, Resellers, and Retail Partners.

• Develop strong working relationships with existing partners.

• Drive joint business opportunities and business plans with partners.

Customer Need Identification

• Actively listen to customer requirements and business challenges.

• Convert customer discussions into qualified sales opportunities.

• Capture and communicate accurate customer requirements to internal teams.

Sales Closure & Target Achievement

• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

• Conduct timely follow-ups and negotiations.

• Coordinate proposals, demonstrations, POCs, and commercial discussions.

• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity status.

Field Sales & Relationship Management

• Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with customers and partners.

• Undertake field visits for relationship building and business development.

• Represent BD Software professionally during customer and partner interactions.

Cross-Selling & Upselling

• Promote relevant solutions across the BD Software portfolio.

• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.

• Develop existing accounts for additional business opportunities.

CRM & Sales Reporting

• Maintain daily activity records covering calls, meetings, opportunities, and conversions.

• Ensure proper CRM updates and opportunity tracking.

• Maintain sales pipeline and forecasting accuracy.

• Submit regular sales and activity reports as required.

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with Presales, Technical Support, Management, and other internal teams.

• Ensure smooth coordination from opportunity identification through demonstration, closure, and delivery.
