Job Purpose

The Business Development Executive (DBE) will be responsible for field-level business development, society mapping, customer acquisition and local market activation for Ganvin Insta Laundry.

The role will focus on identifying high-potential residential societies and households, building relationships with RWA/Association stakeholders, creating awareness about Ganvin’s services, executing BTL activities, and converting prospects into active and repeat customers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Market & Society Mapping

• Identify and map potential residential societies, apartments, layouts and independent-house clusters within the assigned territory.

• Build a database of societies, approximate number of households, decision-makers, contact details and potential customer base.

• Identify high-potential societies based on household density, demographics and service potential.

• Continuously expand the mapped universe and identify new business opportunities.

2. RWA & Stakeholder Engagement

• Establish and maintain relationships with RWA members, Association Presidents, Secretaries, Facility Managers and other key stakeholders.

• Present Ganvin Insta Laundry’s services, technology, pricing and customer benefits to society stakeholders.

• Obtain permission and support for conducting promotional activities within societies.

• Develop long-term relationships with RWAs to establish Ganvin as the preferred laundry service partner.

3. Customer Acquisition

• Conduct direct customer outreach within assigned societies and neighbourhoods.

• Explain Ganvin services such as Wash & Fold, Steam Ironing, Wash + Steam Ironing, Dry Cleaning, Shoe & Bag Cleaning and other services.

• Generate leads and convert them into first-time orders.

• Drive customer registrations through the Ganvin app/website.

• Follow up with leads and inactive customers to improve conversion.

4. BTL & Field Marketing Activities

• Plan and execute kiosks, society stalls, product demonstrations, flyers, posters, leaflets, apartment activations and other BTL activities.

• Coordinate with RWAs for in-society promotional campaigns.

• Conduct sampling/trial offers and promotional campaigns wherever applicable.

• Ensure proper branding and visibility of Ganvin Insta Laundry within the assigned territory.

5. Society Activation

• Develop a structured activation plan for every targeted society.

• Conduct launch-day activities and customer onboarding drives.

• Create awareness about Ganvin's hyperlocal pickup & delivery and instant laundry services.

• Work towards converting each activated society into a sustainable customer base.

6. Customer Relationship & Retention

• Maintain regular contact with acquired customers and understand their service experience.

• Identify customer concerns and coordinate with the operations/customer support team for resolution.

• Encourage repeat orders, subscriptions and cross-selling of additional services.

• Re-engage dormant and inactive customers through field-level activities.

7. Competition & Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitor pricing, offers, services, promotions and presence in the assigned territory.

• Collect customer feedback and market insights.

• Share field intelligence with the management team to improve pricing, promotions and customer acquisition strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: No specific qualification required—good communication skills, a strong business development mindset, and a willingness to work hard and grow are essential.

• Experience: 1–3 years in field sales, business development, FMCG, telecom, D2C, hyperlocal services, real estate or consumer services.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable with extensive field work and direct customer interaction.

• Ability to build relationships with RWAs and community stakeholders.

• Strong persuasion, negotiation and follow-up skills.

• Basic knowledge of smartphones, CRM/app-based reporting and MS Office/Google Sheets.

• Target-oriented, energetic and self-driven.
