Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance: Achieve unit/branch sales targets (premium/policy income), drive revenue, implement sales strategies, and monitor competitor activities.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and retain sales managers (APs/MPs) and agents; conduct performance reviews, build leadership pipelines, and manage team development.
Operations & Compliance: Manage daily branch operations, ensure adherence to company rules, service standards, and regulatory compliance, and handle sales processing/customer issues.
Business Development: Network to source new agents, develop the local market, and support sales promotion activities.
Customer Focus: Build strong internal/external customer relationships, ensure high customer satisfaction, and manage service standards.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 7+ Years proven experience in life insurance sales, team management (handling 5-10+ members), recruitment, and sales/agency management.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication (verbal/written), mentoring, financial acumen, result orientation, and problem-solving.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of life insurance products, local market dynamics, and industry regulations.
Education: Graduate degree often preferred, with MBA sometimes favored for management roles.
Attributes: Proactive, customer-focused, results-driven, and dynamic.
Typical Duties in Practice
Leading daily sales huddles and weekly performance review meetings (PRPs).
Arranging skill-building and regulatory training sessions.
Managing branch financials and supporting commission reconciliation.
Acting as the key liaison between agents, senior management, and corporate.
