Key Responsibilities

Agency Development

• Recruit quality life insurance advisors/agents on a regular basis

• Activate new advisors and ensure early productivity

• Build a strong and sustainable agency force

Training & Development

• Conduct regular training sessions on products, sales techniques, and compliance

• Handhold advisors during joint sales calls and field activities

• Ensure advisors are certified as per IRDAI norms

Sales & Business Targets

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets (Premium, policies, case count)

• Drive focus on high-value and protection-oriented products

• Monitor advisor productivity and conversion ratios

Relationship & Retention

• Maintain strong relationships with top-performing advisors

• Implement retention strategies to reduce advisor attrition

• Motivate and recognize advisors through contests and incentives

Compliance & Process

• Ensure adherence to company policies and IRDAI guidelines

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

• Handle audits and ensure zero regulatory breaches

Market Development

• Identify new markets and customer segments

• Plan local marketing and lead-generation activities

• Track competitor activities and market trends

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of life insurance products and Agency Channel dynamics

• Excellent people management and recruitment skills

• Sales orientation with target-driven mindset

• Good communication and negotiation skills

• Leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities

Educational Qualification

• Graduate (MBA/PGDM preferred)

Compensation

• As per industry standards (Fixed + Performance Incentives)
