Area Sales Officer

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.

• Monitor and analyze sales trends to take timely action.

• Identify new business opportunities to expand market presence.

2. Team Management

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Executives / Sales Officers.

• Conduct regular field visits and joint sales calls.

• Set performance goals and review team performance regularly.

3. Market & Competitor Analysis

• Gather market insights, customer feedback, and competitor activities.

• Propose strategies to enhance market share and product visibility.

• Monitor pricing, promotions, and product placements.

4. Channel Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key retailers.

• Ensure proper coverage, availability, and merchandising in all outlets.

• Monitor distribution gaps and optimize supply chain efficiency.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and action plans.

• Maintain documentation of sales activities, expenses, and customer interactions.

• Communicate area performance updates to senior management.
