Job Summary:
We are seeking a result-driven and field-oriented General Trade (GT) Sales Executive with experience in the FMCG/Food industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, expanding market coverage, managing distributor relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets within the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
Handle General Trade market including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
Ensure effective distribution and availability of products in the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers.
Conduct regular market visits and ensure proper coverage of outlets.
Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
Implement trade schemes, promotional activities, and branding initiatives.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain outstanding control.
Maintain daily sales reports and submit periodic MIS to reporting manager.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in FMCG / Food industry sales.
Hands-on experience in General Trade sales.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good knowledge of local market and distributor network.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred (if field role).
Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
