Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and manage sales operations within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing Medical Representatives (MRs), developing market presence, and building strong relationships with doctors, distributors, and retailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
• Recruit, train, guide, and monitor the performance of Medical Representatives (MRs).
• Plan daily field activities and market coverage for the sales team.
• Develop business strategies to increase market share and product visibility.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, distributors, stockists, and pharmacies.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
• Conduct field visits with MRs and support in closing business opportunities.
• Ensure timely collection of reports, order bookings, and sales data.
• Analyze sales performance and prepare action plans for target achievement.
• Organize promotional and business development activities in the territory.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (MBA/Marketing preferred).
• Experience in Pharmaceutical Sales preferred.
• Proven experience in team handling and target achievement.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience.
