We are looking for an experienced Master Tailor with strong expertise in women’s western wear to lead garment stitching, fitting, and finishing. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of patterns, fabrics, measurements, and high-quality finishing standards, and be able to mentor junior tailors while ensuring production accuracy.
Execute precise stitching, fitting, and alterations for women’s western wear garments
Interpret patterns, tech packs, and design specifications accurately
Ensure high standards of tailoring, finishing, and garment quality
Conduct trial fittings and make required corrections efficiently
Supervise and guide junior tailors and helpers on stitching techniques
Coordinate with designers and production teams to achieve desired silhouettes
Handle complex garments, customized pieces, and intricate detailing
Ensure consistency in measurements, sizing, and fit standards
Maintain timelines and productivity for sample and bulk production
Identify and resolve tailoring or construction issues proactively
5–10 years of hands-on experience as a Master Tailor in women’s western wear
Strong knowledge of fabrics, cuts, silhouettes, and garment construction
Expertise in dresses, tops, skirts, pants, jumpsuits, blazers, etc.
Ability to work with both sample and bulk production
Excellent fitting and alteration skills
Leadership ability to manage and train a tailoring team
Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Ability to work in a fast-paced fashion environment
Experience working with fashion designers or export houses
Knowledge of international sizing standards
Exposure to high-end or premium women’s fashion brands
