Sourcing
• Source women’s garments from key apparel markets in India.
• Identify trend-relevant styles, fabrics, colors, and embellishments aligned with brand positioning.
• Onboard and manage vendor relationships, including price negotiations, MOQs, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate sampling, approvals, and revisions to meet quality and design standards.
• Monitor vendor performance with respect to quality, timelines, and consistency.
Merchandising
• Execute product selection, assortment planning, and range building across categories.
• Ensure an optimal size, color, and price mix aligned with sales strategy.
• Ensure target margins and pricing benchmarks are achieved.
• Coordinate with inventory, operations, and marketing teams to support timely launches and stock readiness.
• Graduate or diploma in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in women’s apparel sourcing and/or merchandising.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, fits, and embellishments.
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing and manage vendors.
• Willingness to travel frequently for market sourcing.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in ethnic and occasion wear (lehenga, saree, gowns, fusion wear) is preferred.
• Exposure to wholesale, fast-fashion, or multi-category apparel businesses is preferred
• Commercial understanding of pricing, margins, and inventory planning is preferred.
