1. Production Merchandiser – Woven Garments

Experience: 3–7 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the complete production merchandising process from order confirmation to final shipment.

• Coordinate with buyers, design, sampling, production, quality and sourcing teams.

• Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories and other production requirements to ensure timely availability.

• Prepare and monitor T&A (Time & Action) calendars, production plans and delivery schedules.

• Have hands-on experience in production follow-up and factory coordination.

• Monitor production progress and proactively identify delays, bottlenecks and quality issues.

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure orders are manufactured according to approved samples, specifications and buyer requirements.

• Follow up on pre-production samples, size sets, PP samples, pilot runs and bulk production.

• Coordinate with the quality team for inspections and ensure buyer quality standards are maintained.

• Communicate with buyers regarding order status, approvals, changes and delivery timelines.

• Ensure timely shipment of orders as per committed delivery dates.

• Maintain production and merchandising reports and provide regular updates to management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of woven garment production and manufacturing processes.

• Hands-on experience in production follow-up is mandatory.

• Good understanding of fabrics, trims, construction, measurements and garment specifications.

• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple orders and work under tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel.

2. Design Team Merchandiser – Woven Garments

Experience: 3–7 Years
Industry: Woven Garments / Apparel
Department: Design & Merchandising
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with the Design Team, Merchandising, Sampling and Production teams.

• Understand buyer/design requirements and translate them into commercially viable garment developments.

• Review tech packs, sketches, measurements, artwork, fabric details and construction requirements.

• Coordinate development of new styles, samples and collections for woven garments.

• Follow up with designers, pattern masters, sampling and production teams to ensure timely sample development.

• Source and coordinate fabrics, trims, washes, embellishments and other materials required for development.

• Communicate design changes and buyer comments to the relevant teams.

• Follow up on sample revisions and ensure samples are developed as per approved specifications.

• Coordinate with production teams during style development to ensure the design is technically and commercially feasible.

• Maintain style-wise development records, sample status and approval trackers.

• Assist the design team in researching new fabrics, silhouettes, colours, trims and garment details.

• Ensure smooth handover of approved styles from development/design to production.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of woven garment construction and production.

• Experience working with a Design Team and Sampling Team.

• Good knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment details and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to understand sketches, tech packs and garment specifications.

• Strong coordination, follow-up and communication skills.

• Creative and detail-oriented approach.

• Ability to manage multiple styles/developments simultaneously.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and merchandising documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates from woven garment manufacturing/export houses with experience in production, sampling, buyer coordination and garment development will be preferred.

Important: For the Production Merchandiser position, candidates must have genuine hands-on production experience, not only office-based merchandising or buyer coordination experience.
